No release date has been set for “Tess of the D’urbervilles” yet, it will be playing on BBC1 between September to October. We’ll update you when we find more information.

According to Variety Eddie will star along side Cillian Murphy in White Male Heart based on the best selling book by Ruaridh Nicoll. “Two long-time best friends, Hugh and Aaron, spend all their time together, hunting, drinking, and making trouble in their rural Scottish Highlands village, until a beautiful Londoner on holiday arrives. Hugh falls for her and begins to consider a new life, but the troubled Aaron is threatened and begins to spin out of control.” -source
Shooting is scheduled to start in late summer 2008.
According to “The Scotsman” Eddie will star opposite Bond actress Gemma Arterton in BBC’s adaptation of Hardy’s 1891 novel, “Tess of the d’Urbervilles“. A story about a peasant girl, Tess Durbeyfield whose family find they have noble connections.
Eddie will portray Angel Clare in this adaptation. The rest of the cast includes Jodie Whittaker, Hans Matheson, and Anna Massey. The film will air September 2008 in the UK.
Today, February 29th 2008, it’s the release date of the “The Other Boleyn Girl” in which, as we all know, Eddie plays William Stafford.
