In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of "The Prince and The Showgirl", the film that united Sir Laurence Olivier with Marilyn Monroe.

Eddie joined Edith Bowman on her radio show on BBC 1 yesterday to talk about My Week with Marilyn amongst other things like his Bafta nomination, his future projects like “Le Mis” and who would he like to spend a week with! You can listen to it online here (skip to 2:14.30). Edith also uploaded a picture of Eddie on twitter.
Eddie Redmayne talks R-Patz and My Week With Marilyn. He stars alongside Michelle Williams who plays Marilyn Monroe. And also chatted to Edith about maybe forming an actors’ supergroup with his mate Robert Pattinson.
Eddie has made it on the longlist for BAFTA’s Orange Rising Star Award. The five final nominees will be announced on January 17th. The winner (which will be voted by the public) will be announced in the ceremony on February 12th. If you’re an Orange costumer, you can vote for Eddie now!

The super funny Lauren O’Nizzle got to interview Eddie at the Vitaminwater after party for “Hick”. It’s definitely one of the best interviews of Eddie, amongst other things he mentions the amazingly talented british folk artist Laura Marling as one of his favorite artists and his Britney Spears impression is not to be missed!
Eddie attended last night the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” Costume Institute Gala which took place in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. I’ve added some pictures to the gallery, check them out!
