Welcome to Eddie Redmayne Online! Celebrating 8 years online - We are the original online source on everything about the Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne. Currently starring as Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything" and as Einar Wegener & Lili Elbe in Tom Hooper's latest project, the highly anticipated "The Danish Girl". You may also know Eddie from his roles in "Les Misérables", "My Week with Marilyn" or TV adaptations such as "The Pillars of the Earth", the BBC's "Birdsong" or the advertising campaigns for Burberry. We strive to keep you up to date on all the latest news. Thanks for visiting and make sure to keep checking back!

You can now find in our gallery high quality screencaptures of Eddie in “The Theory of Everything“. The film is already out on DVD in the US but here in the UK we have to wait until May 11th so hopefully this update will tide you over until then.

Directed by James Marsh, this visually stunning film stars Eddie as theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking alongside the talented Felicity Jones and Charlie Cox. It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last September and has since then received numerous accolades in various film festivals and award shows. Most notably, the film won Outstanding British Film and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2015 BAFTAs. And of course, we can’t forget to mention Eddie has won a Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and the coveted Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in this film.

On the other hand, thanks to the lovely Celyn from Felicity Jones Fan I have added hundreds of screencaptures of Eddie in his role of Marius in “Les Miserables“. Enjoy!

The always-entertaining Golden Globe Awards took place on January 13th this year, and Eddie was in attendance to support Les Misérables along with his co-stars — including Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway (who both took home acting awards). The film also received Best Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy – the most awards of any film that evening – giving the cast and director Tom Hooper a serious case of smiles at the NBCUniversal after-party.

Yesterday, January 11th, Eddie attended the 13th Annual AFI Awards. Les Misérables stars Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway were also in attendance. The trio were there to support the film, which had been deemed one of the organization’s top ten films of the year.

On January 10th, Eddie attended the 18th Annual Critic’s Choice Awards. He had the great opportunity to present co-star Anne Hathaway with Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in Les Misérables (check out a video below). Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried were also in attendance to support the film; however, unfortunately, it only scored the one win for Anne.

On January 8th, Eddie attended the 2013 National Board of Review (NBR) Awards. There, Les Misérables was awarded a couple of honors, including Top Film and Best Ensemble. (Congratulations to the cast!) Eddie was seen pictured alongside Bradley Cooper, who won Best Actor for his work in Silver Linings Playbook at the event.

This isn’t so much a clip as it is the entire song; but for those interested, you can now watch the full “One Day More” scene from the movie-musical, Les Misérables. Needless to say, it’s a spoiler, so only watch if you’re content with viewing this pinnacle moment in the story out of context. Eddie Redmayne has plenty of moments where he shines throughout, however, including the moment where he makes his final stance with Les Amis de l’ABC.

Side-note: I was lucky enough to see Les Mis on Friday. If you’re interested thoughts from a mega-fan of the musical and novel, I wrote up an experience on my website. (Beware of spoilers!)

Eddie Redmayne has had his first American television appearance on the morning show, “TODAY.” He was briefly on Monday’s show with the cast of Les Misérables (seen in the first set of photos), but he appeared solo earlier today, December 13th. As expected, he talked about the film, including singing live on set and bracing himself for “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.” Check out his appearances/interviews in the three videos below:
