In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of "The Prince and The Showgirl", the film that united Sir Laurence Olivier with Marilyn Monroe.

A new clip of Eddie in “Hick” has surfaced. At around 17 seconds in you see him in the role of Eddie Kreezer and get to hear his Texan accent. Thanks to Diane for the tip. Enjoy!
We now have the rest of the pictures from the various events Eddie attended during the Toronto Film Festival that were missing in the gallery, check them out!
I have also added the beautiful “Hick” portrait session in glorious high quality, enjoy!
We now have the pictures of Eddie attending the world premiere of ‘Hick‘ as part of the 2011 Toronto Film Festival. He looked spiffing in a checkered suit as he posed with the his co-stars, writer and director of the film. Earlier in the day, he posed for the typical portrait session with co-star Chloë Moretz. Make sure to check them out!

Eddie will attend the Toronto Film Festival as he appears on the official list of guests. He is going to be promoting the coming- of-age drama’Hick‘ that he stars alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Blake Lively. The film will have its World premiere during this year’s festival which runs from September 8th to September 18th.
Thirteen-year-old Nebraska girl Luli (Chloe Grace Moretz) has been dealt a rough hand. Her mother and father spend their evenings getting obnoxiously plastered at the local watering hole.
Certain she’s destined for a more glamorous life, Luli packs her things and hitches a ride to Vegas. Dressed like a girl twice her age, she’s immediately picked up by a wannabe cowboy named Eddie (Eddie’s character), who walks with a limp and acts a little too crazy for comfort. The two fail to hit it off and Luli is ejected from the car. Luckily, she soon meets Glenda (Blake Lively), a grifter who acts as Luli’s big sister. Just as things seem to be going moderately well for Luli, Eddie makes an unwelcome return and becomes increasingly difficult to evade.
Luli’s life on the road takes more than few calamitous detours, but her flippant attitude and feisty demeanor prevent the dark moments from veering into gratuitously grim territory.
As I mentioned in the last update, we got some pretty neat stuff to add to the site in the next few days/weeks. Today’s update has to do with Eddie’s portrayal of John Jr in the theatre production “Now or Later” which ran in the Royal Court theatre in London from September 3rd until October 18th in 2008.
Here’s the synopsis to perhaps refresh our minds!
On the eve of a US election, the gay son of the Democratic presidential candidate goes to a party dressed as Muhammad. His dad’s supporters think he should apologise before video material becomes public. The boy argues he was acting in the interests of free speech, to expose a fellow student who wanted to censor satire directed at Islam. But he’s also rebelling because of his family history: even his birth, he claims, was a media-sensitive decision by his parents.
I have added quite a handful of pictures of Eddie during the press photocall. Enjoy!
You are free to post them on your blog, tumblr or the like but since Eddie Redmayne Online is a fansite run by fans for the fans, I think it’d be nice if you could link back to us. It makes us really happy to see how the fans enjoy the material we post here. Thanks a lot for visiting!
Since Eddie news are rather scarce at the moment, I’ve decided it was time to work on the gallery a bit and I have added over 700 high quality screencaptures of Eddie in the british thriller “Glorious 39″. I think he did a great job with his part as Ralph Keyes as did the rest of the amazing cast: Romola Garai, Juno Temple, David Tennant, Charlie Cox and Bill Nighy amongst others. Anyway, take a look at the screencaptures but proceed at your own risk as the album contains film spoilers!
I hope everyone is having a lovely summer. Don’t forget to check back as I’ll be updating the site with some great new stuff soon, thanks a lot for visiting!
