Hi guys! My name is Arwen and from now on I’m going to help the sweet Ivonne with updating the site. I started to make screencaps from the last four episodes of The Pillars of the Earth and I just added to the gallery over 400 HD screencaps from the Episode 5 “Legacy”. Enjoy! ^_^
I took the time today to update the gallery a little bit and upload over a thousand beautiful screencaptures of Eddie in “The Yellow Handkerchief” which I loved. It’s a stunningly beautiful movie, if you can get your hands on a copy of the DVD you totally should . Enjoy!
Earlier this month Eddie attended a Summer Party at the Serpentine Gallery, here are some pictures.
I have added the first batch of high quality screencaptures of Eddie in the first episode of ‘The Pillars of the Earth’. Enjoy!
Stay tuned as I’ll be adding more soon!
It looks like the lead for Spielberg Warhorse film went to an relatively new actor, Jeremy Irvine.
Also there have been reports about Eddie possibly starring in a HBO series.
From Broadway World
Tony Award-winning playwright John Logan (RED) is developing a drama pilot with Academy Award-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (‘The Hurt Locker’) and executive producer Lydia Pilcher (‘Amelia’) for HBO. The drama, ‘Miraculous Year,’ would star RED’s Tony Award-winner Eddie Redmayne along with Tony Award-nominee Hope Davis (GOD OF CARNAGE); Tony Award-winner Norbert Leo Butz (DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS); two-time Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone (GYPSY, EVITA); and three-time Tony Award-winner Frank Langella (FROST/NIXON, FORTUNE’S FOOL, SEASCAPE).
Miraculous Year is described as an examination of a New York family as seen through the lens of Terry Segal (Butz) a charismatic, self-destructive Broadway composer and lyricist. Langella would play Terry’s father Alex, a famous painter and imposing figure who is beginning to feel the effects of aging. Davis would play Terry’s sister Mandy Vance, a corporate lawyer who has never quite made it to the top tier and has always lived in the shadows of her famous father and brother. Redmayne would play a captivating and sexy singer/dancer in Terry’s new show who will come to play a major part in Terry’s life. In a role that could be recurring, LuPone would play a Broadway diva.
We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.

From Collider
Steven Spielberg finally decided on his next project last month, an adaptation of the Michael Morpurgo children’s novel War Horse. In a sign of forward motion, Eddie Redmayne (The Yellow Handkerchief) is reportedly “locked” for the lead role of Albert. The book tells the story of a boy, Albert, and his horse, Joey; the pair are separated when Joey is sold to the army, though not even World War I can keep them apart.
Here’s the synopsis of the book from Amazon.
In 1914, Joey, a beautiful bay-red foal with a distinctive cross on his nose, is sold to the army and thrust into the midst of the war on the Western Front. With his officer, he charges toward the enemy, witnessing the horror of the battles in France. But even in the desolation of the trenches, Joey’s courage touches the soldiers around him and he is able to find warmth and hope. But his heart aches for Albert, the farmer’s son he left behind. Will he ever see his true master again?
Warhorse is expected to be released August 10, 2011.
Eddie attended last night the press reception for this year’s Tony Awards nominees with “Red” co-star Alfred Molina as they’re both nominated this year!
From the film’s official website:
Plague-ridden medieval England: Bodies lie scattered in their hundreds, the country is in turmoil. One hope remains, rumours of a village that is unaffected by the deadly disease. As God’s ambassador, young monk Osmund (Eddie Redmayne) is tasked in leading the fearsome knight Ulrich (Sean Bean) and his group of mercenaries to the remote village. Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer – someone able to bring the dead back to life.
It’s set to be released in cinemas May 28, 2010.
The eight part mini series begins on Starz on July 23, 2010. You can watch the HD version of the trailer here.
