The first pictures of the “Richard II” rehearsals have surfaced!

Remember ‘Richard II’ opens on December 6th at the Donmar Warehouse in London. Here‘s a very interesting interview of Eddie talking about this particular project.

‘Kenneth Branagh, who plays Laurence Olivier, says in Marilyn at one point: “Welcome to the circus,” and it does feel like that at times. It’s easy to get caught up in the bulls***. But there’s that amazing line in Richard II that I get to say every night: “Nor I nor any man that but man is/ With nothing shall be pleased, till he be eased/With being nothing.” And it gives me back perspective.’

Eddie joined Edith Bowman on her radio show on BBC 1 yesterday to talk about My Week with Marilyn amongst other things like his Bafta nomination, his future projects like “Le Mis” and who would he like to spend a week with! You can listen to it online here (skip to 2:14.30). Edith also uploaded a picture of Eddie on twitter.

Eddie Redmayne talks R-Patz and My Week With Marilyn. He stars alongside Michelle Williams who plays Marilyn Monroe. And also chatted to Edith about maybe forming an actors’ supergroup with his mate Robert Pattinson.

Eddie has made it on the longlist for BAFTA’s Orange Rising Star Award. The five final nominees will be announced on January 17th. The winner (which will be voted by the public) will be announced in the ceremony on February 12th. If you’re an Orange costumer, you can vote for Eddie now!

With the release of “My Week with Marilyn” this week, Eddie is featured in a handful of different publications. The lovely Lorna has donated some scans for the site that you can look at in our gallery. Enjoy!

The UK Premiere of “My Week with Marilyn” took place this evening at the Cineworld Haymarket in London and of course, Eddie was in attendance to both the premiere and after party. Check out the pictures in the gallery!
