Directed and written by Stephen Poliakoff, Glorious 39 is a story set around a traditional British family at the eve of WWII. Starring Romola Garai, Bill Nighy, Julie Christie, David Tennant, Juno Temple and Eddie Redmayne.
It is set to be released in the UK on November 20, 2009.

The official trailer was just released. Samuel Goldwyn Films has distribution rights to the film in the U.S. with an expected fall or winter theatrical release.

Based on the Ken Follett novel, “Pillars of the Earth” takes place during the 12th century in England. The story deals with war, power struggles and two interwoven love stories. Eddie will be playing Jack. The rest of the cast includes Ian McShane as Waleran, Donald Sutherland as Bartholomew, Rufus Sewell as Tom Builder, Matthew Macfadyen as Prior Philip, Sarah Parish as Regan Hamleigh, Hayley Atwell as Aliena and Gordon Pinsent as the Archbishop.
The series begins production on June 22 in Hungary and Austria, slated to air during the second half of 2010.

From ScreenDaily.com, The Yellow Handkerchief has a US distributer! Samuel Goldwyn Films has acquired US rights to the film, planning an autumn/winter release.
Also thanks to an anon commenter, Eddie looks to be filming a romantic comedy with Lena Headey starting in July set at a Scottish country house.
The story follows a group of singers commissioned to stage Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte and a city slicker who has his own motivations for staging the piece.
Filming has started for Eddie’s latest film Black Death has started and we now have some pictures of Eddie posing on set with co-star Kimberley Nixon. Check them out!
