I did a couple of films in America last year. One with Forest Whittaker called Powder Blue and the other with William Hurt and Maria Bello called Yellow Handkerchief. They’re coming out later this year or early next. There’s another film job I’m probably going on to but I’m not able to speak about it yet.

According to Playbill NewsNow or Later written by Christopher Shinn is a play about the upcoming US presidential election. Eddie will play John Jr.
“Examining themes of religion, freedom of expression and personal responsibility, the play is set, according to press materials, “on election night in the U.S. [when] things are looking rosy for the Democratic Party. Holed up in a hotel, watching the results flood in, are the likely President-elect, his wife, advisors and 20-year-old son John Jnr. Every speech, interview and photocall has been carefully controlled and meticulously orchestrated, all leading up to this big night. At the same time controversial photos of John Jnr. are gathering momentum on the internet. Whilst his father’s advisors work against the clock on damage limitation, it’s up to father and son to try and reach an agreement.”
The play also stars Domnhall Gleeson and Adam James. It will run from September 3 – October 18 at the Royal Court Theatre. You can book your tickets now.
